The Interchange bench base is inspired by the architectural forms of the lattice ceiling in Milan’s Turati metro station. Designed by Luca Nichetto, it is a highly adaptable solution that combines geometry, materials and functions.
The solid ash wood lattice is available in two sizes and serves as a support for a range of configurations. Different elements can be fixed through the holes with a simple fastening system. This way, the bench can incorporate comfortable seats, tables with different shapes and finishes, or dividing panels.
The tables can be fitted to the outer edge of the bench or even poke out slightly. The seats, on the other hand, must always be placed entirely with the perimeter of the lattice.
The personalisation options are completed with eight stain colours for the bench, nineteen stain colours for the ash tables, four high gloss lacquer colours for MDF tables, and endless fabric, vinyl and leather options for the seat cushions.
The discreet legs are made of steel in a textured black epoxy finish.
Interchange’s versatility means that it is ideal for both domestic spaces or contract projects.
