Vesper Table
Vesper tables are a really interesting design by Sebastian Herkner for Sancal. Vesper is a German word meaning ‘cold dinner’ which reflects the function of the table as both dining table or a low occasional table.
The range includes a functional family of tables that come in four heights. Herkner was inspired by nature, which you can clearly see in the organic shape of the base. Using an innovative material made of stone and resin this allows the emulation of the feel of a natural pebble. Again this same material is used in the tops, here it is used to simulate the irregular ages that are made by erosion.
